When Peter came into the house, Jesus was the first to speak. "What do you think, Simon?" he asked. "From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes—from their own sons or from others?"
26"From others," Peter answered.
"Then the sons are exempt," Jesus said to him. 27"But so that we may not offend them, go to the lake and throw out your line. Take the first fish you catch; open its mouth and you will find a four-drachma coin. Take it and give it to them for my tax and yours."
The creator of the universe is incarnated as a man, and tells his friends how to get free money by looking in the mouth of a fish.
What childish nonsense is peddled by Christians.....

Wow, normally I have a good sense of what's in the NT, but somehow I totally forgot about that little bit. Weird.
I had to look it up to make sure you weren't messing with us. I've pulled the "let's turn to 3rd Corinthians" bit on lots of people, just to make sure they're paying attention. :D

The best or worst part depending on your perspective is that it's not even a miracle since Tilapia are known to scoop up their fertilized eggs in their mouths and have been known to scoop up other objects like coins instead.
