Another basic error in Bart Ehrman and 'Did Jesus Exist?'
On page 153 of 'Did Jesus Exist?', Bart Ehrman claims that in Greek mythology, Alcmene gave birth to the immortal Zeus.
This is a rather basic error, unless Bart thinks Zeus was his own father.

Except he didn't make that error. The actual words are
"This in fact is how the divine man Heracles is born. His mother, Alcmene, is ravished by the king of the gods, Zeus, and aferward she is also made pregnant by her husband, Amphitryon."
Try reading all the words on the page.
It is a mistake clear as day. I spotted it also in July, but only now I managed to write a short post on my blog.
