Buying people for money

Genesis 17:12
For the generations to come every male among you who is eight days old must be circumcised, including those born in your household or bought with money from a foreigner—those who are not your offspring.

The Christian god is alleged to have commanded the forcible circumcision of people bought for money.

You would think a loving god would condemn the buying and selling of people for money.

Of course, this story is in the Bible, so it is easy to find Christians who refuse to condemn the buying and selling of people for money.

For examples of the incredible mentality of the extremely religious, who do not blanch even at people being bought and sold for money, just read Buying people for money and weep for the people caught in the trap of religion.

William Lane Craig - Master of Apologetics

William Lane Craig was on the Christian radio show Unbelievable where he was described as a master of apologetics

Craig Debate is an interesting take by William Lane Craig on the problem of suffering.

Craig said :-

'We can summarize this new version of the argument from harm as follows:

1. If God exists, gratuitous harm does not exist.
2. Gratuitous harm does exist.
3. Therefore, God does not exist.

Now the most contentious premiss in this argument is (2). The first version of the argument from harm posed an essentially internal problem about the consistency of Christian theism, since the Christian is committed by his own theology to the truth of the propositions God exists and Harm exists. But the Christian is not committed to the truth of (2). How, then, will the atheist prove that the harm in the world is truly gratuitous?'

An excellent point by a top Christian philosopher.

How is anybody going to prove that the harm caused by abortion is truly gratuitous?

Do 'masters of apologetics' really think there is no 'truly gratuitous' harm done in the world?

Craig digs himself in deeper....

'All right, but then that makes it all the more difficult for the atheist to prove that truly gratuitous harm exists, for how could he possibly know what in God's providential plan of history does or does not contribute to the ultimate salvation of the greatest number of people?'

There you are.

Abortion and other harms in the world today actually lead to the ultimate salvation of the greatest number of people.

So keep aborting babies.... Every abortion , and every other harm in the world today, is in 'God's providential plan of history' for the 'ultimate salvation of the greatest number of people'.

Truly Craig is a master of apologetics....

Christians defend their killer god

Leviticus 10

Aaron's sons Nadab and Abihu took their censers, put fire in them and added incense; and they offered unauthorized fire before the LORD, contrary to his command. So fire came out from the presence of the LORD and consumed them, and they died before the LORD.

Killed by a loving God for the wrong sort of fire.....

Amazingly, there are Christians who are prepared to defend this story of the alleged killing of two people by their make-believe god.

God kills again

Is there no depravity in the Bible that will not be defended by the extremely religious?
